I was browsing a car sale website and I came across the Ford Anglia, I think I must have only seen this once in my lifetime when I was much younger and I was quite surprised to see one listed in South Africa.
This owner must have taken a lot of care of his car and you can see by the water mark that this is a project car that he worked on and entered into car competitions.
It is also priced very nicely at R45 000 . Doesn't say why the owner is wanting to sell but I can't imagine him being willing to let this vintage go.
Looking back at the interior of cars from back in the day we can see how far we have come now with technology however a real car enthusiast will stop to admire this car and appreciate how times have changed .
I did some research and I am almost certain that this owner changed the motor but I can't be too sure.
The car was made in the 1960s so chances of the engine living for ever will be slim especially since it is being used quite often however I guess one could never really say for sure. A lot of people will argue that with good maintenance that it could very well last forever.
This car overall is very neat and I can't help but feel sorry for the owner because I know that I would not part with a vintage unless absolutely necessary, for his sake I wish him the best of luck and hope he keeps many memories of this car.
