I have found a cool site that sells amazing project vehicles and collectors items for reasonable prices. I say reasonable because it may cost more to import these cars and it goes without saying that the process is not easy and if done wrong then it could cost much more.
I stand to be corrected but if memory serves me clear, this pick up truck was in the Sanford and Sons TV series that used to crack me up.
This particular model has been so well kept and I have never seen one like this in South Africa therefore I am shocked that it is even sold here.
If you a collector of vintage then I am sure you wont mind paying R750 000 to secure this for your garage.
Though buying this is a good option, I don't see myself driving this around , I would keep this car for special occasions like car shows so that everyone could see this beauty and appreciate its magnificence.
It has a V8 engine though I am sure the owner did not test the speed on this, Like I am sure with most vintages people nurse it and cruise around so that they do not hurt the prized possession.
It has this burnt orange kind of color and it is kitted with 17 inch wheels.
According to the website, it is from a restored condition, not sure what the condition was before but I am sure the potential buyer wouldn't mind because nothing lasts forever and this vehicle is a 1948 year model so you cannot expect brand new.
Overall this is a pretty nice vehicle to have and I can only imagine that the price would appreciate over time.
