BMW recently launched the new 1 series called the BMW 128ti, You can definitely see the evolution of the 1 series since inception because it is still the previous models shape with some improvements.
The front particularly has a slight hint of the 3 series with the 1 series written all over it, it's a nice blend which has taken the 1 series to the next level.
It comes in a nifty 2.0 litre four cylinder engine which boasts a twin turbo.
BMW did this a bit different this time and this car is a front wheel drive which I am not entirely sure if I am all for that.
The interior was designed rather nicely with a nice looking dashboard, sexy steering with a multifunction control. The sound system is voice controlled and comes with Android and IOS sync which allows you to stay handsfree and safe on the roads.
It also comes with a very nice feature which I particularly liked on the Mercedes A200 whereby it can park itself in parallel parking which is very handy for men and women these days and there is no shame for a man to allow this car to park itself !
The rear is very nice and the overall look is pretty flawless and the double exhaust does make it look all that sporty.
It pushes out a maximum of 194 KW which is a pretty power packer, this appeals to the millenials and some dads out there that are still in touch with their youth.
It is very expensive in South Africa costing over R700 000 so you need to be really serious about this car and the brand if you ready to pay that much !
Overall I personally like it and If that was in my budget I would definitely own one !
