This is the Chevrolet Corvette 1997, not exactly vintage but a very cool car to collect, First impressions is that it is notably low, gives you that feel that you literally one to one with the road, not sure I particularly feel very safe with that but it seems to get the attention from most so might be worth having as a weekend vehicle to race around and slip under trucks!
Based on research it seemed that Chevrolet answered to customers expectations of improving the handling on the car and especially around corners. This car came in a 2 door version which is ideal for a project or car that you would cruise around in on a Sunday.
The interior looks modern as you can expect from a 1997 model car, it was definitely slap bang in the evolution of luxury as you can see the leather, fancy dashboard and a hint of digitalization.
The steering seems a bit bulky, If i had it my way I would have opted for a slightly smaller steering with a flat bottom, the car has speed so better to have comfort in your hands so that it keeps you safe.
The gear is also situated a bit too far for my liking, I would have liked it to be a bit more closer for those quick changes and control.
It came in manual gearbox and a 5.8 Liter V8 engine which is one hell of a beast. It pushes out 257 kw which I am sure many would question based on the fact that it is a 5.8 liter V8, it shows how far we have come with technology and the speed we can reach by just joining hands and embracing technology.
The website omitted the price, seems that price will only be give on request which shows that the price is never fixed as there is some level of appreciation in price, this car is definitely considered an asset rather than a liability.
I would probably give them a call out of curiosity just to find out the actual price and if there is a reason to withhold that information.
