The 1979 Ferrari 308 aimed at being a sport car, it is a 2 seater beast . I have mostly seen pictures of this car being preserved and kept as a collectors item however I have noticed a trend in the collectors market since the pandemic, it seems that people are in an unfortunate situation whereby they have to sell their collection or part off which is very sad.

I am sure most people buy this car with an intention to add on to their collection and not sell, the upside of this situation is that these cars don't go cheap, in a case where a car is a collectors item, the price usually goes up therefore it is a good return on investment.

The interior was designed very neat , you can start to see the evolution of the dashboard to look a bit more busy and we can clearly see that this car is built for some level of comfort. What does baffle me is why the steering's were so big back then, though if you buying a collectors item you wont want to change a thing.

The car needs to be preserved in its original state and kept for the longest time and possibly handed down.

This car came with a V8 engine and pushed out over 180kw , we can only imagine the speed of that era. There isn't a price tag on this car and you can only view by appointment only so we can see it is well protected.

The rear also looks very smart and sporty, double exhausts started to become a thing and define a sports car.

Based on research it averages 1 million rand in South Africa and I have actually seen a few of these which are driven by older folk.

I love the red cars. But I want to buy a bike. Because I am not a very rich person.
