1972 FORD CAPRI

The Ford Capri is one of the rarest of cars and those who own them rarely do sell them, I found one on my usual site and priced very reasonably at R195 000. It is something average folks could afford and have one collectors item in their garage.

It takes a certain level of financial freedom to buy a car that is rare, most of us aim to get that decent or new daily driver and rarely have the outrageous funds to buy a collector but at this price I am pretty sure that it will be affordable.

This car specifically is not standard and you can see by the looks that the previous owner spent a lot of time, effort and money to do some upgrades and make it look a bit meaner, its also probably the reason that this car is going a lot cheaper because most collectors want cars in their original condition and you tend to lose value once you start interfering with the look.

This is a 2 door Sunday cruiser, the insides are pretty basic but neat, you can see the carpet, seats and door pads have been refurbished but a decent job indeed.

This car is fully custom, it has had a re-spray , kitted out with 17 inch wheels, it has a Lexus V8 engine in it and it has an automatic gearbox.

I am actually keen to see how fast this car sells, I am pretty sure some keen late 20s guy will buy this car and race the life out of it because it has that potential and it looks like it was built for that purpose.

It's priced right so I know it will definitely get sold , let's wait and see.

I love this Car, anything Ford and Mustang @trev03 :P
It is a right hand drive I see, but I have nothing to say but it is really a beaut of a fast muscle car. :D

I used to own a Ford Fiesta ST, small little thing but was fast and exciting to drive, I surely miss it!
