The Mercedes W189 was manufactured between the years of 1957 and 1962 and it was said to be made for the wealthy in the time.
I stumbled upon this car on https://www.creativerides.co.za and this car does not have a price. It looks like its on auction and will go to the highest bidder.
I can only imagine that it is going to be pretty expensive considering it does not have a price tag, this car will surely go to a very wealthy person that is keen to have this in his garage.
It could also be on auction because they aren't many still left around the globe and I have searched on the internet and this car is definitely very rare.
Mercedes always had that quality look and feel to their cars and you can see that they pride themselves in reputation. They have managed to uphold the name over decades and we even see this in the latest models, they never produce a poor quality car.
The interior of the car looks very elegant and classy, I like the wooden look and feel, it looks precious and tasteful.
Though one might not appreciate that look in a modern car, I think we should separate the two and appreciate it in the year it was built.
I am pretty sure 100 years from now, someone would look at our latest vehicles and think the same as we look at vintage.
This car reminds me of classical old movies that are in black and white with a Mafia boss being transported in the back seat hanging out the window and shooting at other gangsters. Farfetched? well that's how they do it in the movies.
Check the website I listed if you would like to see more cars from back in the day if you have an appreciation for vintage.
