I seemed to have picked up a new found interest whereby I find myself looking at vintage cars however I will only post about ones that really spark my interest. Whilst browsing I came across the 1958 Cadillac series 62 convertible. This car looks absolutely solid and size of a boat ! The design is very elegant and I can only imagine how one would have felt driving this in their day.
The king of the open road and definitely attracting attention from all genders because this car is smoking!
The interior is pure classic, It didnt have the seperation for a hand brake which allowed it to be the perfect 3 seater in front, ideal for a couple with one kid. The insides do look very basic because of the year its created but theres so much to be appreciated by just looking at this.
The steering is huge in comparison to now but if i was given this car I wouldn't change a thing. It needs to be kept standard and not tinkered with.
It is priced in at 1,6 million rand in South Africa and I am sure some Elvis Presley fan who can afford this bad boy will surely get one. It is an absolute rare car therefore you can understand the reason for the high selling price which is expected from a collectors item car.
It also has a V8 engine therefore it is also a force to be reckoned with which will also not be cheap on fuel!
This car is meant to be in a garage and admired however it wouldn't hurt to take her for a spin every now and then.
