Does this car look familiar ? It should, This car featured in the Titanic which means that in reality it really went down with the Titanic.
This car was made only for the wealthy and it was a car that belonged to a very wealth man who was destined for America and took this car along with him on the Titanic.
This car was actually rebuilt to the same look as per the original just to feature in the Titanic.
This car had a 2.6 liter , four cylinder engine and has become a rare gem. I tried searching if there are any still around or the number of these made but I couldn't find any at present. I am sure if any exist that it very well be a priceless treasure and surely more famous because it featured in the real Titanic.
Based on research , there were efforts to try and find this car undersea but it proved futile.
Would I buy one like this given the opportunity? Answer is no! There is too much around this car that reminds us of the tragedy and sadness around the Titanic and even though this car was not meant for that purpose, just looking at it makes one's imagination wonder and think about the times of the Titanic which is very sad.
The only reason I am writing about it is because I watched the movie again and saw the car and was intrigued at what car it was.
If you have seen this car or know anyone who has one then I would like to know more about it.
