Dhaka to Cinnamon Island on a motorcycle

in blurtrides •  4 years ago

About three years ago, the date was January 2, 2011. I was returning from St. Martin's. At that time, I made a promise that when I come back to this beautiful island, I will come with a motorcycle, "Dhaka to Cinnamon Island on a motorcycle." In the meanwhile, three years have passed and many incidents have taken place. The dream remained a dream. One day, I told my brother June that I wanted to go to St. Martin's.

About four months later, he informed that Russell Industries Ltd. is releasing their new motorcycle Lifan KP150 in the market and they will pay us two motorcycles and related expenses for this tour and the tour will be Dhaka-Comilla-Chittagong-Cox's Bazar-Teknaf-Saint Martin and Bandarban. When I found out, I screamed so loudly that it almost locked the ears of everyone around me.
Went.

Preparations for our motorcycle ride started, we came to see that day on 23rd January 2014, at 8:30 am we all arrived at the head office of Russell Industries Ltd. Lalmatia, Dhaka We are 5 Mohammad Sadiqullah June with red Lifan KP150, RD Amio with blue Lifan KP150, Wasif Anwar and his favorite hero glamor, Md. Asadur Rahman Shuvo took white blue Yamaha FZ-S I A, K, M , Abidur Rahman took TVS Apache RTR.

Chairman Absal Russell and Managing Director Samsul Bashar were present on behalf of Russell Industries Ltd. to bid us farewell. We left the house at 9:30 am, crossed the Dhaka traffic jam and reached the Mayor Hanif Flyover from there to the Kachpur Bridge over the Shitalakshya River. There is no other bad road like the one that started after crossing the bridge. The most dangerous road for motorcycles, Yamaha FZS but this road is just north of Gallo, in front of the Meghna Bridge we all ran across the Meghna Bridge. In front of Comilla, we met Rohit Bhai in Comilla and then we met the dealer of Russell Industries Ltd. Comilla.

After discussing various issues with the dealer for about an hour, we left again. At three o'clock we reached the port city of Chittagong. That night we met Monster Riders, the next day Monster Riders showed their stunts with Lifan KP150 at Naval Sea Beach Patenga, it was a wonderful evening. Honestly, it is better to do stunts with the next motorcycle.

We set off in the morning for Teknaf and took a break for lunch in Cox's Bazar, then started our motorcycle engine again on the Marine Drive road to Teknaf. We are moving forward and the sun is sinking in the middle of the ocean. After a while we turn on the headlights of our motorcycles. It is pitch dark all around and we are running through the headlamps. I went through the trees that have been silent witnesses of this hundred years, a strange creepy feeling is created in that place.

We arrived at Hotel Teknaf's Ne Tong. No rest নিয়ে Lifan KP150 with me, Jun Bhai, Amio Bhai, Shubh Bhai and Wasif set off for Carey Ghat Mahmoud Rony. As easy as it may seem to get a motorcycle on a ship, it was actually a lot harder, yet we finish the job very well.

Need a nap সময় At 9 o'clock in the morning we all got back to Kerry Ghat, got on our ship Kerry Sindabad just like the ghost of Sindabad. At 9.30 am, the captain of the ship announced the departure of the ship, we set sail for St. Martin's Island.

Located along the border of the southern part of Bangladesh, the Bay of Bengal touches the border of Myanmar in the southeastern part of St. Martin's, crossing a sea of about 34 km in the sea under the Teknaf police station of Cox's Bazar district. About 12 kilometers east of the island is the Great Wall of Myanmar. India is bounded on the west by the Sundarbans for about 500 km, and on the south by the deep sea. That is the location of this small island in the middle of the vast sea.

St. Martin's Island covers an area of about 6 square kilometers and is north-south long. The three-sided foundation of the island is rock that sinks at high tide and rises at low tide. If these are caught, its area will be about 10-15 square kilometers. The island is about 5.63 km long in the north and south. The width of the island is somewhere around 600 meters and somewhere around 200 meters. To the east, south and west of the island there are innumerable rock formations as far as the sea. St. Martin's Island has an average elevation of 3.6 meters above sea level. There are about 10-15 km of coral walls along the west-northwest side of St. Martin.

Geographically it is divided into three parts. The northern part is called Coconut Ginger or Uttar Para. The southern part is called Dakshin Para and is connected to it by a narrow tail-like area extending to the south-east. And the narrowest part is known as Galachipa. To the south of the island is a small island of 100 to 500 square meters, locally known as Chheradia or Siradia. It is a deserted island.

We crossed the rough sea and went to St. Martin at 12.30 o'clock. Crowds of passengers began to disembark at the wharf, but we waited for everyone to disembark, one by one. It was more difficult to get off the motorcycle than it was to get off, but all the trouble was gone in an instant when we got off the motorcycle at St. Martin's Jetty.

Deep blue sea, some coconut trees, Keya forest all around. Lifan KP150 with five motorcyclists, we came here from a long distance across the rough sea.

We met at the jetty with Navy, Coast Guard and local police officers, and after courtesy talks with them, we set off for the other side of the island. After some road cement from the jetty then the road is about 6 km on the sand by the sea side. We reached our resort on the sand, our resort is in a noise free, secluded place at the very end of St. Martin's Island. Shortly after that, he started riding a motorcycle in the water and sand along the beach.

We did not understand when the sun went down and the darkness came down. We have not seen such a dark place in Dhaka for a long time and the sky is full of stars. Lots of fun, fun to watch the night come to an end.

We all appeared on the beach before the sun rose, the purpose was to see the sun rise, it was an impossibly beautiful scene that could not be expressed in words, it was to be enjoyed with sight.

Time is running out, it's time for us to return, we left our resort, we came back to the jetty, the ship is just crowded, all the passengers are waiting to get off, because we have to get our motorcycle back on the ship, I called BD Motorcyclist's brother Riaz. They also left Shahpari Island in a trawler with 10 motorcycles. I waited for them.
It's time to leave, we're all back on board, our ship is heading for Teknaf's Carey Wharf and we're leaving behind St. Martin's Island with some of life's best moments and some historical memories.

I am sitting on the deck of the ship above Lifan KP150. The sea is high. My eyes are looking at the BD motorcyclists coming from the opposite direction. Where? Meanwhile, Jun Bhai was busy taking pictures of them with his camera, he told me to ask Riaz Bhai to raise their hands. Our ships and their trawlers passed by and went far away. I have never seen an adventurous rider like BD motorcyclists in my life, they have gone to St. Martin's Island by trawler. Well done BD motorcyclist.

Gangchil and Gangchil began to fly along with the ship, they were in numbers in the house of the century, our brother's camera then clicked and took pictures of these birds. The mountains of Teknaf can be seen as the sun peeks through the gaps of this mountain, our ship is advancing towards the wharf, after a while our ship anchored at Kerry wharf and the last hole is our journey from Dhaka to St. Martin's Island.

So far today, however, I have come to the conclusion that I will return very soon with the story of the haunted house of Teknaf (the Arkan-occupied bungalow on a hill 10 km from Teknaf).
