We all know about Ferrari who has a little knowledge of cars. Ferrari is top ranked car brand in the world now. Today I will make a review about a car of Ferrari, which model name is Ferrari 308 GTS.
Ferrari 308 GTS was first produced at 1975 and the production was running until 1985. Basically it is a two seated , mid-engine sports car. It was assembled inn Maranello, Italy. Designer of the car was Leonardo Fioravanti and Pininfarina. Ferrari 308 GTs was a replacement of Dino 246 GT and Dino 246 GTs model.
As above mentioned that it is a sports car. And we all know that body structure, chassis, engine, transmission is made good quality for sports car that in general.
This model is something related to Ferrari 208/308 GT4, Ferrari Mondial and Ferrari 288 GTO.
Dimension
Wheelbase of the car is about 2,340 mm. Length of the car is 4,230 mm, width is about 1,720 mm and the height of the car is about 1,120 mm. Kerb weight of the car is about 1,090 to 1,288 kg. I think this is a standard dimension for a sports car.
Ferrari 308 GTS was predecessor of Dino 246 GT/GTS and successor of Ferrari 328 GTB/GTS.
Powertrain
There are two type of engine in the car. One of them is 2.9 L Tipo F106 AB V8 in GTB/GTs and the other is 2.9 L Tipo F106 BB V8 in GTBi/GTSi. The engine condition was too well. And this car won many racing game in that time.
Today there are many advanced, smart and stylish car in the market as compared to Ferrari 308 GTS. But imagine the car was produced at 1975, about 45 years ago, in that time it was one of the most advanced car. And it was the dreamt car for any racer.
