Learn how to adjust the carburetor of the bike yourself

The carburetor drives the motorcycle for a while before adjusting the fuel range. After heating the engine, park the motorcycle in a quiet place. Find out where the fuel mixing screw carburetor is. It is easy to detect. The carburetor has another screw for idle RPM. If you follow the throttle cable, you will see that this idol screw is where the carburetor stops (meets). For now, our idol screw is not working. It is used to specify a minimum (1200-1400 rpm) RPM.

The carburetor III has another screw at the bottom. It is used to dispose of internal gasoline (dirty petrol for any reason). That is why it is called drain screw. For now, it has no work. We will work with fuel screws. This screw can be easily tuned by increasing or decreasing. In this case, there is no need to confuse the right side with the left side. Think of a wall clock. Turning the screw in the direction where the clockwise cut rotates will tighten or reduce the oil. Rotating the screw counterclockwise will loosen or over-oil.

The stock position is the stock position setup, the way the manufacturer sets up the ideal setup when buying a motorcycle in the beginning. For example Stock Position (Number of Turn) 3.25 (FZS / Phaser). This means that when the fuel screw stops rotating clockwise (finger tight), rotate 3.25 rotations counterclockwise from this position. 3 times 360 degrees + 1 time 90 degrees. Or three full patches + one quarter patches.

If I say stock position (number of turn) 1.5-2.5 (Discover 100 Ali Reza). When the fuel screw stops rotating clockwise (finger tight), rotate 2 rotations counterclockwise from this position. Any position between maximum 2.5 rotations, minimum 1.5 rotations. 1.5 rotation if you want mileage, 2.5 rotation if you want performance.
If I say stock position is 2 +/- 1 (Apache 150), rotate 2 rotations counterclockwise from this position when the fuel screw stops rotating clockwise. Any position between a minimum of 1 rotation and a maximum of 3 rotations.

What is carburetor tuning? When we do carburetor tuning, we do it to ensure a ratio of 14.28 vs. 1. In other words, a mixture of 14.28 grams of air mixed with 1 gram of petrol should be made to enter the engine. The result? If it is correct, the performance of the engine, mileage, acceleration, all the functions are tiptop.
