At present, the bike has become an alloy wheel. About 99% of the bikes that are currently being made by different companies are alloy wheels. But, how much do we know about this wheel? So let's try to know a little bit about this alloy wheel today and also understand how to take care of it.

Alloy wheel rims are usually made of a combination of aluminum, carbon or other alloys. Earlier it was made of magnesium hybrid door. However, the magnesium-alloy rims were likely to catch fire. Therefore, magnesium alloy rims are subsequently banned. I don't know about alloy rims made in Bangladesh or India, but abroad these alloy wheel rims are made of a combination of aluminum, carbon or other alloys.

Alloy rims are currently being used as rims for most bikes. Due to its low weight, accuracy and efficiency, it is now becoming popular everywhere. Alloy wheels are great for tubeless tires and for perfect tire seating position on the rim. The tire fits accurately and perfectly with the rim, and this is very important for the tire and the rim. If it does not fit well, there is a possibility of vibrating or jerking while riding.

If at any time your tubeless tire gets punctured, do not remove the tire from the rim. Because it can damage your rim. Never install tires with tubes with alloy wheels. Because, if your tube gets punctured, you have to open it every time you have to repair it, and this will damage your rim every time. Alloy wheels are made of very soft and light metal, such as aluminum or carbon. We know that aluminum or carbon is a very light metal. So, if your tire gets punctured on the road, if you take it to a general mechanical workshop, they may use a screwdriver or some heavy equipment like this to repair it which will cause serious damage to your rim. So, always try to use tire removing tools during puncture.

In the case of alloy wheel rims, the task of fixing the tires is much easier and much better than in ordinary spoke rims. Because, you can't use tubeless tires with spoke rims, because the leaks in the spokes will blow all the air out of your tires.

Here are some important tips about alloy wheels:

Always remember. Alloy rims should always be taken care of extra.
Always try to keep the air pressure of your tires in accordance with the company recommended pressure. Otherwise it can be detrimental to the rim.
Always try to use the right tire removing tools when changing tires. It is better not to open the tire with any other equipment.
In the case of bikes, alloy rims always require dynamic balancing. Keep it up.
Never use a hammer type thing to remove a tire. It can cause serious damage to the rim.
Never use low diameter tires with rims. This causes damage to the alloy rim.
Do not try to open the tire from the rim during puncture.
Always try to use the brand's rim rim. This is because locally made alloy rims do not contain the right proportions of different alloys which can be harmful to your rim. Even while riding, the rim may break and cause an accident.
Do not use magnesium alloy rim. Because it is a combustible object.
Stop riding bikes off road. Because doing so can make your rim useless quickly.
Always try to take disc brake bikes when you buy alloy wheel bikes. Because, on the drum brake, the drum itself is a part of the rim. As a result, if the drum is damaged, you may need to replace your full alloy wheel.
Do not take the risk of repairing the alloy wheel yourself. Because the matter is very sensitive.
Tubless Tire Puncture Removing Kit Avil Avil is available in the market. Always keep it with you. And I don't know of a reliable place in Bangladesh that can repair alloy wheels. So, if the rim is completely damaged, try to get a new one. Because, if you make a wrong repair, it can be your life risk.
