Recently, the traffic of black glass vehicles has increased on various roads and highways of the country including the capital. Following this, black glass microbuses, hijackers and private cars are plying on roads and highways in Dhaka's Dhamrai. Dhamrai residents got frightened when they saw these cars.
Kidnapping, snatching, robbery and many other incidents are carried out in black glass cars. For these reasons, the use of black glass in cars was once banned. If these vehicles move on the roads and highways, the law enforcement agencies will seize them. The instructions were for the use of clear glass. But now many are not accepting it. As a result, the perpetrators were able to escape by using these vehicles to commit crimes and evade the eyes of the law enforcement agencies.
Several such incidents are happening in Dhamrai recently. As a result, the sight of a black glass car causes panic in the minds of the people.
Abdul Jalil Mandal of Dautia village in the upazila was abducted on May 12 in a white microbus and a ransom of Tk 25 lakh was demanded.
