Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce by order of the President. This information has been revealed in the notification signed by Delwar Hossain. This order has been issued by amending the Import Policy Order 2015-16 with the powers given in Section 1, Sub-section 3 of the Import and Export Act, 1980.

According to the notification, the import of motorcycles older than three years and all types of motorcycles above 165 cc is prohibited.
