Going to the DPE, it is seen that 12 jeeps and microbuses of different models used for the officers of this organization are lying in the old garage. These include Toyota Prado, Rocky, Isuzu, Mitsubishi and various models from 1996-97 to 2008. Five of them have expired but seven of them have been dumped in the old garage before the scheduled expiration date. In the last two years, 12 vehicles have been canceled. At present they are becoming useless due to neglect and carelessness. The DPE has informed that the auction process has been started for the sale of the cars.
According to DPE sources, one of the 12 vehicles lying in the garage had minor injuries, some had engine defects and would be repaired if repaired. A few are completely good again. Officials are not interested in using the new model cars. Even if these cars are put up for auction, no one is interested in buying them. Two years ago, 10 such cars were put up for auction, but no one submitted a tender. Later they were sold at the price of water.
