An electric private car of small size and excellent design is available in Bangladesh for only Tk 95,000. A total of four passengers, including the driver, can sit comfortably. The car was originally marketed by a company called China Longsida Bangladesh Company Limited. The company is also selling electric cars, easy bikes, pickups, vans, etc. in the Bangladesh market. However, there is no battery with a private car priced at Rs 95,000. It must be purchased and added separately. The car needs four batteries. The total cost will be 40 thousand rupees. However, with the private car, electric motor, charger and all the accessories will be provided.
The company is mainly importing parts of electric private cars from China and converting them to the Mauna factory in Gazipur. According to them, this car will run up to 120 kilometers on a single charge. Shamim Hossain, manager of the company's accounts and legal department, said the electric private car is seven and a half feet long and four feet wide. Height ranges from five and a half feet to six feet. It comes with a 1000 watt motor and charge controller, a 48 volt charger, a spare wheel and a tools box. He added that there is no battery with the electric private car. You have to buy the battery separately. Which will cost 40 thousand rupees.
