Like another super car giant Ferrari, Lamborghini was born in Italy. There, on April 26, 1918, Ferrisio Lamborghini, the dreamer of the future Lamborghini Company, was born in the house of an ordinary grape farmer. But according to family tradition, he did not get involved in grape cultivation. He was more attracted to tractors and various implements used for farming than to farming.
Due to his strong interest in mechanics, he was admitted to the Fratelli Tadia Technical Institute in 1930. There he studied mechanics. Later, when World War II broke out, he joined the Italian Royal Air Force in Rhodes Island in 1940 as a mechanic. His job there was to repair damaged and defective vehicles.
Ferrisio was taken prisoner of war when Rhodes Island fell to the British in 1945. Exactly one year later, he was released and returned to Italy.
Returning to war-torn Italy, he went to work, and in 1948, inspired by his experience working with various vehicles in the Air Force, he set up a tractor company in the Italian city of Santo.
With a strong passion for work and extraordinary talent, Ferruccio gradually led his company to success. Moreover, Ferruccio's tractor company soon saw huge profits due to the booming economy of Italy after World War II. He went to the rich forest.
When the money in his pocket started to flow, a new intoxication entered his head. And that is to collect all the luxury cars of different companies. Following this, one of the best sports cars of that time appeared in Ferrari's garage - Ferrari 250 GT.
While driving the newly purchased Ferrari, Ferris also noticed that the car made a lot of noise and was not very suitable for driving on normal roads. A few days later, there was a disturbance in the clutch of the car.
Being a mechanic himself, Ferruccio decided to inform the then Ferrari owner, Enzo Ferrari, about the car's problems. But Enzo Ferrari did not like to hear about the problem of their own car from a young tractor mechanic. He made it clear to Ferruccio Lamborghini that he did not need the advice of a tractor mechanic.
Lamborghini returned insulted by Enzo Ferrari. He promised to give a proper answer to this insult. How much he was able to answer, is not unknown to the world today! Ferruccio decided to set up a car company in his own name.
With a strong interest in bullfighting and being born in Taurus, he chose a bull as his company's logo. Most of the cars his company later built were named after bulls.
