My love for cars goes back to my home town in Ibadan, Nigeria. In the late 90's and early 2000's I seen for first time the BMW E46. A beautiful vehicle with lines that could make a mermaid look ugly.
I remember seeing this by an important business man who came through my neighborhood driving very slowly to make all notice. And we all did, we saw this vehicle and spoke about it at night for many nights.
The particular one I saw was a 318i which from my research has a 2litre engine that makes 141 horsepower. What makes me love the shape more is that there are other variations with little or subtle changes to body shape and form but bigger engine and better mechanicals. For example the 330i and the M3 models these are the ones that are spectales of beauty and makes my inner childhood happy. The 330i having a 3ltr 6 cyl engine and M3 a 338horsepower 3.2ltr 6 cyl allow you to propel the car from 0-100 in 5.1.
These are becoming harder to find in a good and not abused state of car. Those who having low mileage example are fortunate of owning as this car is much sought after.
