With all the amazing cars that have been manufactured, the cars from antiquity are the most fascinating to me.

The La Marquis is a car that was made in 1884, and still runs. It is steam powered, can go 38-MPH and has a tank that allows it to go 20-miles. What a car! A steam engine was an original method of automobile locomotion before the internal combustion engine.

The picture is a similar vehicle, but not the La Marquis itself. Go to the link below to see the real thing. Image riding on this vehicle! Despite the fact that it runs on steam, it is not a green vehicle per say. It runs off of coal, wood and even paper debris, so it is not clean technology. A Tesla may be more environmentally progressive, but this vehicle will get you style points. It takes about an hour to warm up, so you will need to wake up early for your morning commute.
