I have owned a Ford Focus for the past 12-years, and have put almost 190,000 miles on it. I have been pleasantly surprised by its performance, and will continue to drive it until the wheels fall off. It is easy to fix and source parts, and has been a great ride.
The car gets great gas mileage. This car is a petrol sipper, getting over 20-miles per gallon. It is a safe ride, dependable and cheap. I got my silver Ford Focus SE for $12,000 new in 2007. The Focus is a smaller car, but it is good for what it is made for- getting from point a to point b.
It has been a great ride, and I plan on holding on to it until it hits at least 250,000 miles. Despite a slight electrical issue, a busted alternator and a broken handle it has performed well. Get it an oil change every 4-months, and you are good to go.
