The BMW 501 V8 is a car that is beautifully made, has the power of a V8 and has a story that makes it interesting as well.
This automobile was manufactured in the early 1950s in post-war Europe. This was the first BMW manufactured after World War II, and came after BMW was manufacturing household goods. It had to get approval to start making motorcycles and cars, and the 501 and 592 were the first to roll off the line. An interesting bidy style was the result, and the car was manufactured in the unique body style into the 1960s.
I love BMW automobiles, and this is no exception. I have seen these at a classic automobile show, and really like the way they look. It has a V8 and is rather wide, making it a nice street and racing car. It is another example of German excellence in automotive manufacturing.
