Just came across the Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR which is a concept car by Mercedes said to be inspired by Avatar. If you are a fan of Sci Fi movies, then you already have an idea of futuristic cars and designs. This car looks like what you would see in some top-notch advanced games or blockbuster sci fi movies. This isn’t some 3d rendering, it is an actual car that have been designs, and even though it is still a concept car, it is functional and based on footages available, the car have been tested on the roads. This car is an epitome of beauty and a true example of futuristic.
What this car can do and what they makers intend it to do once again proves how far technical advancement in automobile have gone and what there is to come years from now. We have already seen crazy and stunning concept designs, but for me, the Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR is just on another level. The features of the car is insane (I mean that in a good way… lol). The car is stunningly beautiful and looks like what came out from another planet.
According to sources, the Vision AVTR is powered by two electric motors, each developing 476 horsepower. Looking at the car, you can see that there are the 33 multi-directionally movable bionic flaps which is said to be added to mimic the scales of a reptile. Even though it looks like it is there for fancy, it is said that those multi-directional movable flaps are there for a useful purpose. When the car is on and in motion, those flaps becomes alive and make the car seem like it is alive.
The tyres of the car comes with a unique design and looks like something that isn’t meant to drive on the regular roads. The car comes with a ton of sensors… The interior of the car doesn’t look anything close to what a regular car looks like… a blend of luxury and top level futuristic tech. There is no regular steering wheels, and instead there is a hologram and touch sensor at the center. Once the sensor is touched, it connects with the person and activates what is known as the vision. Another great thing about this car is the hologram. Once you raise your palm up, holographic bottoms appear on your palm and you can make selections by just closing your palm. Simply incredible. This car is just amazing and what I call futuristic awesomeness.
