That right there is the car that changed Audi's perspective completely. That is the 1994 Audi RS2 Avant. The first ever RS car that audi has ever produced.

Now at that time Audi had no experience in building performance road cars, so they gave a shout to their friends over at Porsche. Now at that time the Porsche 959 production was coming to an end,so they decided to add a few parts from the 959 to the RS2.

Just to name a few:
~ Wheels
~ Brakes
~ Suspension
~ Wing mirrors
~ Tail lights
~ Etc.

Porsche also took Audi's famous 5 cylinder turbo and beefed it up. They fitted and enhanced turbo charger, different exhaust manifold, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, different mapping, exhaust, etc.

Now with all of that, they were able to achieve 315 bhp and 302 N.M of torque going through a 6-speed manual gearbox. All of that helping it to achieve 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds and carrying on to a top speed of 262km/h.

It was truly something great. But we must not forget that if it wasn't for this car, Porsche in fact, if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have an RS line in Audi. We wouldn't have the likes of the RS3, 4, 5, 6, 7, etc.

So there you are, hoped you all enjoyed that.
