It was on sunday last year when we were on our way to the Fig Tree Walk, when we noticed, a lot of old muscle cars passing us on the street. It´s pretty normal to see these beautiful old cars on australian streets on a sunday, but after the 5th Ford Mustang I was getting a bit curious. I was pretty sure that there must be a Car Show in that area.
And I was right, as we were driving into the town of Kenilworth we could see the venue. Unfortunately the event was already closing, but luckily there were still some cars there.
Es war an einem Sonntag im letzten Jahr, als wir auf dem Weg zum Fig Tree Walk warn, als wir bemerkten, dass uns viele alte Muscle-Cars auf der Straße entgegen kamen. Es ist ziemlich normal, diese schönen alten Autos an einem Sonntag auf australischen Straßen zu sehen, aber nach dem 5. Ford Mustang wurde ich ein bisschen neugierig. Ich war mir ziemlich sicher, dass es in dieser Gegend eine Autoausstellung geben muss.
Und ich hatte recht, als wir in die Stadt Kenilworth fuhren, konnten wir den Veranstaltungsort sehen. Leider war die Veranstaltung schon zu Ende, aber zum Glück waren noch einige Autos da.
Apart from the most classic Muscle Car, the Ford Mustang there were a lot of Holden GTS and some other beautiful cars.
Abgesehen von dem klassischsten Muscle Car, dem Ford Mustang, gab es viele Holden GTS und einige andere schöne Autos.
But among all the oldtimers and muscle cars in particular I still like the Ford Mustang the most. For me this is one of the most beautiful cars, especially the models from the late 60s.
Aber unter all den Oldtimern und Muscle-Cars mag ich den Ford Mustang immer noch am meisten. Für mich ist dies eines der schönsten Autos, besonders die Modelle aus den späten 60ern.
As we walked around a corner I could not believe my eyes...a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. Wow what a car!!
This car in such a good condition can go for 200.000 $ and even more.

On the way out we saw some more of these awesome cars. It´s a shame that we did not arrive a few hours earlier.
Auf dem Weg nach draußen sahen wir noch einige dieser fantastischen Autos. Schade, dass wir nicht ein paar Stunden früher angekommen sind.

Wow. Somebody has really put in the work to keep that baby looking that good. I have no doubt it runs like a dream too.
