The 440+6 was often times just as fast as the 426 Hemi, way cheaper, and way more manageable to drive on the street. 1969 A12 Roadrunner/Super Bee 440+6 is my favorite car of that entire era
There was a dodge or Plymouth dealer in Paducah Ky that had a green one of these. They couldn't sell it so they removed that silly wing just to get rid of the car.
Nobody wanted them when they were new. Now they are six figure cars. Maybe the best stock car in NASCAR history, although the 69 Ford Talladega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler are right up there too
I saw it when King Richard Petty drove it during the early days of NASCAR,he tame the beast with ease
Most funnest ride ever built there was nothing I could touch that Augusta me your sweet baby and even sweeter to drive now that would be sweet to pick my lady up in she look fine sitting inside that baby beside me though

A rather strange color, but back then Mopar had unusual colors! They usually looked great
This color looks great on it.
Another dream car I will never own!🥺 ... so beautiful almost 50 years ago those were some crazy lines!👍🏻
Sassyfrass Green. My Dentist had the same car. Too fast for Nascar lol ✌
