Bajaj is one of the most reliable motorcycle brands in India and they are constantly designing new passenger bikes for their customers. They are giving some new bikes to keep pace with the times. To capture that joy, they launched a new model of the Bajaj Discover series in 2016. Earlier, they won the hearts of consumers with the popularity of Bajaj Discover 125cc bikes and now they are introducing this model to the customers with more new features. For the convenience of passenger lovers and especially for the convenience of Bajaj Discover users, they have made some changes in their bike and they hope that the bike will give better performance than the previous model.

This new version arrives in our country in early 2017 and some huge changes can be noticed. There are new features and stylish design for the user. For example, the bike has beautiful graphics, LED DRL headlamps, new tail lamps and a new seat position, and a completely new design on the electric side meter panel. So now is the time to take a look at the new features of the bike.

Design and style
The new model is designed the same as the previous model of the Discover 125cc but the new model looks more attractive due to the addition of some features. The new model has smart design headlamps, short visor, fuel tanker with attractive graphics, all attached to the new model. The rear tail lamp has further enhanced its appearance. The color combination has already been completely changed. The seating position will be comfortable for riders and pedestrians. Muscle fuel tanker combines stylish graphics and color. The upper front handlebars will give a very nice riding position and ensure good control of the rider from all directions. The newly designed alloy disc plate makes the bike look different which is really very admirable.

Chassis and dimensions
Speaking of the chassis, the bike uses a semi-double cradle chassis that will extend the lifespan of the bike in all aspects i.e. body dimensions and much more ensuring bike length 2035mm length, width 60mm and height 1075mm. The wheelbase has 1305 mm and ground clearance 165 mm. Seat height is 605 mm which is convenient for any rider and the weight of the bike is 121 kg. The capacity of the fuel tanker is 8 liters of oil.

Engine
The engine of Bajaj Discover 125 has 124.5 cc, 4 stroke, air cooled single cylinder, DTSI engine which can be powered by 5 speed gearbox. The engine Max Power can generate 11 PS00 5500 torque with 11 PS @ 7500 RPM. According to the company, the power of this engine will be very good and will help to run at a speed of 100 km / h.

There are both kicks and shelves to start the engine.

Brakes and suspension
Disc and drum brakes are used in the bike. 200mm disc brakes are used on the front and 130mm drum brakes on the rear.
In terms of suspension, Bajaj claims that it will give 16 percent better performance than previous bikes. It has 140mm fork travel, telescopic suspension with 120mm rear wheel travel on the front and nitrox rear suspension on the rear.


Tires and wheels
Stylish and newly designed aloe wheels with 2.75 x 17 front tires and 100 / 90-17 rear tires. These tires are expected to give good grip and durability.


Electrical and meter panels
We have already mentioned the new attached LED DRL on the headlamp and it comes with halogen bulb, stylish tail lamp bezel. There are also LED turning lights, pass lights etc. There is a 12 volt battery to handle the electrical features. This bike uses a switch to turn the headlamp on or off, which was not the case with the AHO technology of previous bikes.

Digital and analog meter panels are noticeable on the bike in the meter panel. Twin dial speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer and trip meter. The color of the digital meter panel is orange which will help the rider to understand all the features.

Color
The bike has three different colors available in the market in black, blue and red. These three colors are mainly available in the market.

Finally, the Bajaj Discover 125 (2016) model has a classic look and updated features that will attract lots of customers. Now its popularity depends on the performance.
