I don't watch too much movie. Basically I have not enough time to enjoy a lot of movies. But I really love to enjoy movies. So I enjoy movie after selecting them in my watchlist. I select them to enjoy basically on basis of review. But I focus more on real life review than on internet based review. I have some friends and relatives who watch yoo much movie. They suggest me some movie from my comfort zone. And I only enjoy that movies.
In this post I will make a short review about one of my most favourite movie I have ever enjoyed. This is a Bangla medium movie from West Bengal, India. As Bangla is my mother tongue, I can easily understand the word and sentence used in that movie. Anyway the movie name is "belashese" than means "at the end of the day".
The story of the film begins when a respected old gentleman, after fifty years of his marriage, calls one of his sons and three daughters to the front and tells his wife that he wants to divorce her and live alone. The reason why he is making these decisions after so many years of marriage and though his decision is correct under Indian law but how Indian society will view it, that was the main issue of that movie. To inform you more that Indian society didn't see a divorce as a good manner though it is very common issue in western society.
Later the director have focused on not only their problems why they are making that decision, but also focused on the problems in their son and daughters life. And the problems focused on that movie is very realistic considering Indian society. That is why it can hit the deepest part in my heart.
I have enjoyed the same movie more than 20 times. But I never feel disgusting. Anyway, this movie was first realeased at 2015 and was directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy. The starring was Soumitra Chatterjee (died months ago), Swatilekha Sengupta, Rituparna Sengupta, Aparajita Auddy, Monami Gosh, Sohini Sengupta, Kharaj Mukherjee and so on.
You can enjoy it on youtube. It is a must watch movie particularly if you are from Indian society. Thanks.
