Vaya experiencia audiovisual la que viví con esta película, Whiplash es un filme de drama-musical protagonizada por Miles Teller Quien interpreta a “Andrew Neiman” un joven baterista de Jazz perteneciente a una de las mejores escuelas de Estados Unidos Y por J.K Simmons en el mejor papel en lo que haya visto participar, como el terrible profesor de Andrew “Terrece Fletcher”; Dirigida y escrita por el director Damien Chezelle, También reconocido por haber sido el director y guionista de otro muy buena película del género La La Land.

El aspecto técnico de la película es excelente, el manejo de las cámaras, como utilizan los planos acordes a cada escena y un aspecto a destacar, la película tiene muy poco diálogo en algunos momentos esto no es malo ya que en estos instantes los instrumentos toman escena y se comen la película, como la cámara capta los movimientos de las personas, el desgate de cada instrumento, como los personajes se esfuerzan de sobre manera, como el sudor pasa por su piel y hasta la sangre corre por la mano de los bateristas. Hay una escena en particular en donde en las locuras de Fletcher, ordenan a los bateristas a que alcance su tempo y hasta que alguno logre la velocidad en los movimientos que el desea no se acabara la sesión de hoy, aquí es donde más lucen el montaje del film, en donde podemos observar su frenetismo y la explosividad que hasta a cierto momento sube la adrenalina al espectador y hasta te mete de lleno en los sentimientos de cada personaje en esta historia.

There is a scene in particular where, in Fletcher's follies, they order the drummers to reach their tempo and until one of them achieves the speed in the movements that he wishes, today's session will not end, this is where the montage shines the most. of the film, where we can observe his frenzy and explosiveness that up to a certain point raises the adrenaline of the viewer and even gets you fully into the feelings of each character in this story.

No me puedo despedir sin hablar de la grandiosa actuación de J.K Simmons, cada escena en donde tenía participación se notaba el aire de tensión, en que dirá?, que hará?, como dentro de su locura se encuentra la base del éxito para su mentalidad, como su clase se vuelve en un campo de batalla para sus estudiantes, en donde los más fuertes son los que logran ganarse su reconocimiento, como lleva al límite a las personas, como agrede a las personas mentalmente algo que para él los hará crecer como musico y vaya quien no recuerda la famosa frase” No es mi maldito Tempo” Una locura de actuación de las mejores que he visto en mi vida y digna ganadora de Oscar a Mejor actor de reparto.
