But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not he weary; and they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
God renews our strength so we can run with the gospel and never be weary or tired. To run means to cause a thing to function properly and affectively. It also mean to get involved fully and passionately. It is time to preach the gospel with passion and fervency.
Why we must run with the gospel.
1 It is our calling.
“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of for necessity is laid upon me; yea woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel” (1 Corinthians 9:16).
2 It is our time to evangelize.
“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).
3 Because Satan is also busy.
“And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered [lie Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it” (Job 1:7)."
Therefore, every soul winner is a needed instrument in God’s hand. Share the gospel with zeal, aggression and persuasion and God will reward you bountifully.
