MESSAGE:
We see Christ's love in His incarnation. Nothing but love made Him to divest Himself of His divinity in order to put on Humanity to that He can be our savior. This love is further demonstrated in His suffering and death on the cross for our sakes. There is no greater love that any man can show than this. Today, as we observe the boxing Day, let's be mindful of the fact that He laid a good foundation for us. Anyone that claims to love God and to be his child must follow his example; show love practically to those in need and unconditionally. It is only by so doing that we can only say that we are His. It is a divine command that demands total adherence.

So every believer in Christ should see him/herself as an extended hand and feet of Jesus on earth. The lord blesses His children so that they can in turn be blessings to others. He wants to work through you to show His love and compassion to someone today. Notice that our key verse tells us that love is not just about our words or thoughts, it is about our actions. Love is about reaching out and meeting the needs of others. Sometimes meeting someone's needs may require just a smile or sharing a word of encouragement. There are many ways to show the love of God. Can you pay for someone's fuel or transport fare for that young man or young woman seated next to you in the bus?

Do you see a need in someone's life that you can meet? Look for ways to put your love into action. The bible says that it is His kindness that leads people to repentance, and the Lord wants to show His kindness in the earth through His children. Can you be his hand and feet to reach out to someone today?
