Eid is the most influencing and largest festival in Bangladesh specially for the muslim community. In this festival the overall country injoy it among its surrounding. The common tradition of the mass people is to enjoy it to the hometown. That's why on this occasion couple of weeks back we have seen many of the people coming to the village area from city even under the lockdown. This is the speciality and the sentiment of the people. The attitude was whatever happened they will enjoy it along with friends and family and close mates.
I just wanted to mention about this year's festival and it was very much exceptional as all of you know it. The most visible part of the youth festival is to go to the Eid prayer and there we meet all the friends from our village as it is the common place of gathering for all the village people even who are coming to the village from city after a long time. But unfortunately for the covid-19 situation again this year government has restricted the event. I could not enjoy it in the way we have enjoyed in previous time but still it is an memorable it festival for me because there were a couple of enjoyable moments and happening on that day what I am going to share today now.
After completing Eid Prayer at mosque and visiting to the grave koi decided to visit the houses of our nearby people and that was the most important part for visited many of the families in our locality with some of my friends as you can see in the picture. After breaking fasting the day is about to taste foods in the daytime. The afternoon was more enjoyable as we had a joyous cricket match.
Cricket is my favourite sports and we normally like to attend some matches on the occasion of Eid festival and this is the vital and enjoyable part of the Eid festival. Mostly cricket matches or football matches, travelling to some beautiful places, and arranging party are the common enjoying event on the occasion of Eid. Due to pandemic later two was not possible but cricket match in the afternoon on the Eid day was very very special. I love to play as a batsman and contributed my part and finally we have on the match against the other part of my village by 36 runs.
So far this is the story about myself on this holy occasion and hopefully in upcoming days this situation will be normal and we will have enjoyable Eid.
