Difference Between Prophet and Oracle (My participation to the Blurtreligions contest)

Intro

It was great to see the contest being held for the first time at Blurtreligions. Maybe there will be countless more contests under this tag(blurtreligions) in the future. However, for the first time in this contest, the topic has become very beautiful and I am proud to be able to participate in such a topic. After all, if the beginning of everything is good, then hopefully the end will be good. Because there is a proverb in English that Well beginning is half done. Or All is well that ends well. I believe that this contest and this tag will last for long time with a long acquaintance if we can start with something good at the beginning of this contest.

Difference Between Prophet and Oracel:

Let me define two things first-

According to Oxford Dictionary:-

Prophet: a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God.
Oracle: a priest or priestess acting as a medium through whom advice or prophecy was sought from the gods in classical antiquity
or
Oracle: a person or thing regarded as an infallible authority on something

Concept of Prophet

As a follower of the Muslim religion, my idea of a prophet or messenger is very clear because I have read a lot about prophets and messengers. It was included in our syllabus not only because of this but also because of my own interest I have read many life stories of many prophets, many religious beliefs and stories of preaching which I like very much. The Prophet is not only a Muslim but also a Christian concept. Approximately 25 prophets are mentioned in the Holy Bible and about 25 of these prophets are also mentioned in the great book Al-Quran. But in some cases, only the languages have changed slightly but these numbers and descriptions of the prophets are similar in many respects. In some cases, the Bible says more and in some cases the Qur'an says more. I don't want to argue about where it is said. I personally believe that all the prophets in the Qur'an are true. There is no inconsistency in the Qur'an, and the Qur'an itself has challenged the World to find a mistake if anyone can with the help of anyone.

Prophets who are the people chosen by the great Almighty God (Allah). That is to say, Allah Ta'ala, the Almighty God, has chosen some of the people through whom He will convey His message to the people. And in this case, the person who has been chosen to guide people to the right path and to command them to do good and forbid evil is the Prophet. And these prophets and messengers did not speak from themselves, but preached to the people what they heard from the Creator through prophecy. Then the work of the Prophet is to play a role in the path of supreme guidance or truth. That is, through the ages, Almighty God has guided man through some chosen people whom we call prophets. According to Islam and Christianity, this prophethood began with the first father, Adam(peace be upon him), and ended with the last and final prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him). Many in Christianity do not consider Muhammad(pbuh) to be the last prophet, but they think that Jesus or Jesus Christ(pbum) is the last prophet.

Concept of Oracle

Many of us know about Oracel that when we are in danger or need advice or make decisions in life, we go to the priest when we want to get an idea or message from God or a great person and try to hear the oracle (the message) from Almighty. We call those who give us these words Oracle. That is to say, the oracle is the one through whom the Almighty God conveys His message also to man for a special need or to predict man's future or to solve a man's problem. However, we do not have such an idea in Islam, but according to Greek and Roman doctrines, Oracle means such an angel. It's a lot closer to the idea of the Prophet.
