I wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy new year in advance, my people. Hope I should be expecting my Christmas gift here💃💃 :)

Christmas is the season of giving. Remember the wise men who came to see Jesus? They “presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh” (Matthew 2:1) but the greatest gift of all came from our Heavenly Father: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16) As you open your brightly wrapped presents on Christmas morning, remember that the Savior is the true gift of Christmas.

Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, we Christians believe that he's the son of God. The name 'Christmas' comes from the Mass of Christ (or Jesus). So we get the name Christ-Mass, shortened to Christmas. Christmas is now celebrated by people around the world today even December 25th.

Things That Give More Fun to the Christmas Celebration

Back in those days when we were still young, I can remember we often visit Santa Clause on a T.V show. We do call him Father Christmas😂. But now, things have advanced, some are even bringing Santa Clause to their schools for the children to see and take a picture with, some in their churches…

Santa Claus, also known as Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick, Kris Kringle, or simply Santa, is a Legendary character originating in Western Christian culture who is said to make lists of children throughout the world, categorizing them according to their behavior, and bringing gift on Christmas Eve, toys and candy to well-behaved children, and coal to naughty children.

What do the Red and White Symbolize when Celebrating Christmas?

Jesus, often referred to as the Good Shepherd, was born on Christmas. His birth was God's way to bring lost lambs back to the fold. The red stripe represents blood due to Christ's sacrifice, and the white stands for his purity.

And other colors that are associated with Christmas color are gold, green, purple, pink, and blue. So, when decorating homes, churches, schools, etc you can attach the colors to make it more attractive and beautiful. As you can see here below, these are examples of Christmas decorations.

Wishing you a blessed Christmas and lots of happiness in the New Year. May peace, love, and prosperity follow you in 2021.
