CIA and the Gateway Experience (part 2)

I was going to write a second part to the CIA document regarding the Gateway Experience. Well, this is it, so I'm doing it, but is not as long as I'd thought. You see, that file has a page missing! Ah, those sneaky spooks have redacted the text by omitting page 26, sections 35 & 36.

One could be charitable and assume it was by accident, but that's laughable; that page had the full procedure described, after the theoretical ramble. Never mind, the overall impression given is positive towards the Gateway Experience, as developed by The Monroe Institute. The one part of the protocol which is added to the Hemi-Sync tapes is self-hypnosis; this would shut down the chattering mind and improve focus on the tapes themselves. This is the part redacted, but remains included in the Conclusion - hence the missing page could possibly be an error.

Before looking at the Conclusion, one thing caught my attention. Robert Monroe is quoted as saying that one GE tape uses a "Beta signal" of "around 2877.3 CPS" (2877.3 Hz). This is a strange use of the word "Beta" as such brainwaves are classed in the 30-40 Hz range and associated with wakeful consciousness. Looking into this, I discovered this helpful OCR version of the doc - it too has the same missing sections. However, this reminded me of an audio file from TMI (that I can no longer find on the TMI site) that described what was then an experimental protocol whereby very high frequencies were used to initiate altered states but only after the lower frequency calm state was achieved.

This is one of my many annoyances with so much new age tripe, that somehow "higher frequencies" are associated with "higher vibrational states" and hence "higher levels of consciousness". All sounds so... wonderful, apart from the fact that very high brain frequencies are associated with seizures and epileptic experiences. Thus the higher frequencies on their own can be damaging without the protection of the lower frequencies. And hence, lower frequencies are not "lower states of consciousness" but, as we have hinted at, can be the carrier frequencies that allow us an expanded range of perceptions. They also seem to relax the body so that we do not short-circuit.

Perceptions are everything, and we are now in serious danger of limiting our perceptions of even our basic senses when we should be expanding our conscious awareness of all the other senses we possess. This is the basis for raising the consciousness of humanity - by raising our perceptual awareness of the universe - combining ancient meditation techniques with new physics. The secret is not in quantum mechanics or relativity - they are largely complex diversions in this arena - it is in electromagnetism.

Electromagnetism was discovered 200 years ago, and many early experiments were on biological systems. Frankenstein was based on contemporary experiments; indeed, Volta and Galvani would argue about whether the soul itself was an electromagnetic phenomenon. And then, as if a pall of silence was draped over the field, bio-electromagnetism fell silent. It was a dangerous idea: humans are not mechanical robots, they are complex systems of energy and matter. All life on Earth has evolved to interact with the natural electromagnetic fields generated by both the biosphere and outer space. We are now imprisoned in a haze of artificial EMFs and, somehow, nobody notices. I wonder why?

Back to the Conclusion:

H. Use multi-focus approach to solve problem of distortion in terrestrial
information gathering trips. This approach involves the use of three individuals in the out-of-body state, one viewing the target object here, in time-space, one viewing it at Focus 15 as it slips into the immediate past, and one viewing it at Focus 21 as it slips from the immediate future.
Debrief all three and compare data gathered from the three points of view. If care is taken to insure that the three all go out-of-body together, in the same environment, their consciousness energy systems should resonate in sympathetic oscillation. They can tune in to the same target on different planes (dimensions) with greater effectiveness.

I don't know if such experiments have been documented, but just imagine the mind-trip!
