Every inhabitant of Barcelona knows the majesty of the Cathedral of San Cristobal, also known by its inhabitants as the Cathedral of Barcelona. It is a temple of the Catholic religion.

Todo habitante de Barcelona, conoce la majestuosidad de la Catedral de San Cristóbal, también conocida por sus pobladores como la Catedral de Barcelona. La cual es un templo de la religión católica.

This church was built in 1748 and 1773, being the first church in the State of Anzoátegui, and forming a key piece in Barcelona full of history. It was also consecrated on October 10, 1773 by Friar Manuel Jimenez Perez.

Esta iglesia fue construida en 1748 y 1773, siendo la primera iglesia del Estado Anzoátegui, y conformando una pieza clave en Barcelona llena de historia. Además de ello fue consagrada el 10 de octubre de 1773 por el fray Manuel Jiménez Pérez.

Each street of this wonderful city shows parts of the colony, with its high sidewalks, colonial houses, monumental religious temples, and the shining sun of this precious land.

Cada calle de esta maravillosa ciudad muestra partes de la colonia, con sus aceras altas, las casas coloniales, sus templos religiosos monumentales, y el sol que resplandeciente de estas preciosas tierras.

And each of them leads to the Cathedral of San Cristobal. Located in Venezuela, Anzoátegui state, city of Barcelona, in Juncal street, with Maturín street, just in front of Boyacá Square. So you can get it on Google Maps with this address.

Y cada una de ellas conduce a la Catedral de San Cristóbal. Ubicada Venezuela, estado Anzoátegui, ciudad de Barcelona, en la calle Juncal, con calle Maturín, justo al frente de la Plaza Boyacá. Así que ya puedes conseguirla en Google Maps con esta dirección.

In this temple with each of its details in architecture was built by settlers from nearby places at that time, as indigenous people of Píritu, El Pilar and others.

En este templo con cada uno de sus detalles en arquitectura fue construido por pobladores de lugares cercanos en aquella época, como indígenas de Píritu, El Pilar y otros.

Inside the cathedral you can see the High Altar, which amazes the view in just seconds, when you step on the entrance.

En el interior de la catedral podrás ver el Altar Mayor, que maravilla la vista en tan solo segundos, cuando pisas la entrada.

In it there are several saints of the religion, as well as on the side walls of the church.

En el mismo hay varios santos de la religión, al igual que en las paredes laterales de la iglesia.

We can also find the mortal remains of San Celestino, on the left side.

También podemos encontrar los restos mortales de San Celestino, en la parte izquierda.

In addition with a bookstore where you can find religious texts, crucifixes, Bibles, rosaries, and everything related to the Catholic religion.
It goes without saying that you should come and visit it, because I am sure you will want to see this historical monument with your own eyes. A place where people and God meet, to thank, forgive, reflect, and find the advice they long for.

Además con una Librería donde puedes encontrar textos religiosos, crucifijos, Biblias, rosarios, y todo aquello relacionado con la religión católica.
Demás está decirte que vengas a visitarla, porque estoy segura que queras mirar este monumento histórico con tus propios ojos. Un lugar, donde se encuentran las personas y Dios, para agradecer, perdonar, reflexionar, y encontrar ese consejo que tanto anhelan.
