For the last 15 years or so my mom and I have been making a yearly winter trip to Mammoth Mountain. And this year was no exception. Snow can be unpredictable here in California and some years Mammoth gets buried in feet of snow and some years not so much. This year was a bit below average, but honestly that's still a lot of snow and the mountain had really good coverage. My mom is an incredible skier and I'm not to shabby on a snowboard so we always have fun shredding all over the mountain. We usually start at the Canyon lodge since mom rents a locker there. Then we usually warm up with a run or two on chair 8 before moving on to chair 9 or chair 5 and then usually heading up chair 23 or the gondola to the top!

This year I've unfortunately been dealing with some tendonitis in my right knee, which has been a bit of a pain. We had to take a few extra breaks and we had to stop a little early each day. But I dealt with it fairly well and we still had a lot of fun skiing together!!
