My memorable Holiday visiting Morocco several years ago. Staying at the coastal resort of Agadir in Morocco, North Africa. So I would like to share some of the many photos that I snapped while walking around this very cosmopolitan Marina.
The Marina can be found further down the beach near the mountains at the far end of the beautiful sandy bay. Close to the Hotel were fantastic shops and restaurants. In addition, there were several Cafes providing "Hookahs" for smoking "Shisha" there.
However, it is mostly all about boats, not just small boats, but very expensive cruisers, most probably owned by some very wealthy Arabs I would guess.
You will also notice a really cool Hotel overlooking the Marina, which is probably very popular now. As when we went on Holiday to Agadir they were still building some of it. Which was quite a few years ago now (approx 2013).
I will finish this post with a general warning for Tourists to the harbour area, that there are a few local scams that could potentially cost you money. One particular scam was a guy offered to show us more of the unseen side of the harbor. Initially we thought he was just being friendly, and wanted to showcase his country, so to speak.
After showing us some fish that had just been caught that day, he promptly took us to a back street restaurant. Obviously he was paid a commission for pulling people in, so we gave our excuses and left rather quickly.
