When I originally posted this Article a couple of weeks ago: "View of Kusadasi Harbor" ~ Turkish Travel Photography 🇹🇷 it closed with zero payout. Therefore, I think that I am fully justified to edit this publication and Re-Post it to the #BlurTravel Community again....
The photo below was my very first view of Kusadasi Harbor in Turkey, taken from the middle deck of the Cruise Liner. Which, at that time was operated by the company "Ocean Village". This shipping company no longer exists now as it was taken over by P & O several years ago.
Anyway, when you first walk up the ramp steps onto a "Cruise Ship" you have no idea of the sheer enormity of what is inside. There were corridors leading everywhere, shopping malls, dinning rooms. Even finding the way to your cabin for the first time is like a 10 mile trek following endless numbers, till you eventually find the correct number.
On entering the cabin room, one thing that is kind of strange, but also very clever is that there are curtains. However, when you draw them open there is no window, but you do get a cozy feeling somehow. Then there is a TV / Monitor, giving you a remote view of the outside World. You can see where you are, and learn about how the weather looks just from the clear blue sky showing on the Monitor screen.
Just imagine seeing the harbor (below) in the picture, with several coaches (over 10) just sitting & waiting to depart to your day's exciting new excursion.
On this particular morning, it was a coach trip to visit Ephesus in Turkey
As it says on the side of the Cruise Ship: "Do more, be more" A very true slogan indeed! (see below)
Both the above Photos were shot on a one day excursion visit to Turkey, while being a passenger of the "Ocean Village" Cruise Liner in 2010.
