Manchester city and Real Madrid will be meeting for the seventh time in European competition tonight. With Manchester city winning the both leg of the round of 16 in 2019/20 of the competition.
Real Madrid have not been privilege to won any of their last three meetings with real Madrid.
It is good to not that pep Guardiola has knocked Real Madrid out of the competition on two different occasions, one at Barcelona and with the recent one with his recent man city team when he beat them with 4:2 on aggregate in 2020.
If Guardiola successfully eliminate real Madrid this season, he will be the first manager to have eliminate real Madrid out of the competition on three different occasions.
A win for real Madrid tonight will make him the first team to beat two different English team at home in the knock out stage of UEFA Champions league. Having beat Chelsea at home recently this season. No team have achieved this so far.
Pep and Carlo Ancelotti have both face each other has managers on six different outting, this outing produce 4 wins for pep and 2 for Ancelotti with no record of draw between them.
