For the second time in five years, Liverpool and Real Madrid meet in the Champions League final, with Jurgen Klopp's side seeking for a triple, while Real Madrid will rely on Karim Benzema to lead them to a record-extending 14th European Cup title.

On Saturday, 80,000 people will be inside the Stade de France for the final, which begins at 9 p.m. in Paris (19 p.m. GMT), including 20,000 supporters of each team who have officially obtained valuable tickets for the game.

Approximately 40,000 Liverpool fans without tickets are anticipated in Paris, with 7,000 police officers on duty as part of a major security operation.
Liverpool will be trying to win their second Champions League in four seasons after losing 1-3 to Real Madrid in Kyiv in 2018, when Mohamed Salah went off injured in the first half and Gareth Bale scored twice for the Spaniards.

The win would cap off a season in which Liverpool won the English League Cup and FA Cup, and ended just a point behind Premier League champions Manchester City.
"I'm overjoyed and proud of what we've accomplished so far; it's truly remarkable," Klopp added.
The Reds have a chance to win their seventh European Cup, tying them with AC Milan and leaving only Real Madrid with more triumphs.

Indeed, Madrid is aiming to win the Champions League for the fifth time in nine seasons, and has triumphed in each of their last seven final appearances.
While Liverpool beat Inter Milan, Benfica, and Villarreal in the final rounds, Carlo Ancelotti's Real beat PSG, Chelsea, and then Manchester City.
On paper, Liverpool appears to be the better team, with Alisson in goal, Virgil van Dijk in charge of defense, and Salah and Sadio Mane heading the attack.

Real, on the other hand, is banking on Karim Benzema, a 34-year-old Frenchman who has 15 goals in the Champions League this season.
