Mi madre tuvo una tortuga durante años. Aunque era más grande que la tuya.

Vivía la mayor parte del tiempo bajo su cobertizo, porque el sol de Arizona es muy caliente. Salía una vez al día para venir a comer lechuga que le dábamos de comer. Seguía lentamente el perímetro exterior de la valla en lugar de venir directamente al patio. No sé si no se daba cuenta de que podía ahorrarse mucho tiempo o si pensaba que tenía que viajar por la valla.

Y cuando digo que habría ahorrado tiempo, quiero decir mucho. Fue muy lento, lol.

Era genial, y todo el mundo estaba triste cuando murió.

Hay un parque en Tucson llamado Agua Caliente que tiene muchos patos y tortugas. Cuando se dan cuenta de que estás tirando pan para los patos, docenas nadarán hacia ti desde el otro lado del agua para conseguir todo el pan que puedan.

Me he reído viendo a tu tortuga con ropa, jajajaja.

My mom had a turtle for years. He was larger than yours though.

He lived most of the time under her shed, because the Arizona sun is very hot. He would come out once a day to come eat lettuce we would feed him. He would slowly follow the outer perimeter of the fence instead of come straight to the patio. I don't know if he just didn't realize he could have saved a lot of time or if he thought he had to travel by the fence.

And when I say he would have saved time, I mean a lot. He was so slow, lol.

He was cool, and everyone was sad when he died.

There is a park in Tucson called Agua Caliente that has lots of ducks and turtles. When they realize you're throwing bread in for the ducks, dozens will swim to you from across the water to get as much of the bread as they can.

I laughed seeing your turtle wearing clothes, hahahah.
