How to earn the most Blurt from Curation on Blurt

in blurtpower •  4 years ago  (edited)

Here are a few Tips for all the New Bloggers on Blurt.

You start to earn good Curation rewards once your BlurtPower reaches 4,000 Blurt.

So the key is to Power up as much Blurt as possible but leave about 100 Liquid Blurt so you can post. In the coming Hard Fork .... 50% of your rewards will be liquid Blurt to help you pay the very tiny fees to post etc. These very tiny fees are here to keep the spammers away and ensure that people only post a few times a day.

As soon as you have 4,000 Blurt Power you will notice that your Upvotes are actually worth something.

The key is to vote the best original Blurt Blog posts around the 5 minute mark.

Only Vote about 10 times a day to keep your Voting Power above 90% ...

You earn 50% of your vote... so if you give an upvote of 100 blurt you get 50 blurt at the 7 day Pay out period.

You will notice that some Blurt Blog posts receive 2,000 Blurt upvote. This is worth almost $20 USD .... (50% payout is $10) so you can actually earn a pretty good living here on Blurt.blog. Where else can you earn $10 a day sharing your artwork, photography, music, stories etc ? No place.

Happy blogging on Blurt !

You’re very welcome .... the key is to Power up !

A nice explanation for newcomers. If I may be so bold as to suggest something. Unfortunately the way front ends are designed posts quickly get lost/buried by newer posts. Maybe you could place a link to it at the bottom of your newer posts so newcomers will see it quickly.

I believe you do more than any single person on Blurt to welcome newcomers and by default probably have more newbies viewing your posts out of curiosity/thankfulness for your acknowledgement/welcome.

That’s a great idea .... The @helloblurt and #helloblurt tag has delegation to rewards new posts. I believe @zahidsun makes posts highlighting all Newcomers.

Thanks for posting this. Very informative for someone new such as myself.

Awesome .... I see you signed up through the Let’s Blurt app for Android via the post on Noise.Cash .... how did that all go ? Https://noise.Cash/n/blurt

You should write up a post about your experience with a few screen shots ... and tag @etainclub @letsblurt and the Blurt Founders @jacobgadikian and @megadrive

One of the fixes in HF3 is that all Blurt Power holders will see some vote values, even at the lower end. So, powering up now will see much higher votes come HF3, especially those in the 500-5,000 BP range.

This is excellent News. When does HF3 take place ?

Dear sir, I would like to translate this post into Chinese which is sure to be of great help to more bloggers in Chinese community. Is it OKay? Many thanks.

Sure. It’s ok.

90% is about 12 hours to reach 100%, that's sometimes too short for me, so I also go down to 80% once - that's 24h free time ;-)
