Dream Car Challenge // Desafío el auto de tus sueños

Greetings colleagues, here I saw an interesting proposal / challenge, in this case what would be the car or car of your dreams, those who know me know that I am a great lover of cars, that I know some particular things and how much I enjoy reading, or seeing about this great subject, so this question is something that in some way could be considered easy and difficult to answer at the same time.

Since seeing and knowing about many models with different proposals or styles can be somewhat complicated because a track car for example would not serve to be driven entirely on the street quietly, which would be otherwise, regardless of the motor arrangements and their transmission and suspension configurations.

Of all the car models that I like or that call my attention I can rescue that the car of my dreams is not necessarily an exaggeratedly expensive or exclusive car as if it were a fine 1/1 model or a limited production of less than 50 units.

So I can tell you that the car of my dreams will be described progressively and I will tell you why this car... Starting by saying that its engine is a four cylinder 2.5lts, turbo, is a car that has a four wheel drive system that has 300VC and a torque of 407Nm, for gearbox has a six speed manual box.

By measures we can find a weight of 1500kg, it has an aggressive exterior, large spoiler and several air inlets in the front and outlets on the sides. Do you have an idea of the model I'm talking about? Another clue its characteristic color is a bright blue.

Well, if you still can't get it right, here's the answer: the Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti. A model that is not the base model of the normal Impreza, is the sport version without being the top version of this model, or exclusive versions. The reason for my admiration for this car comes as a child when my godfather gave me a remote control scale model, which had the label of the WRC, and if you add what was already my admiration for cars, this further feeds my desire to know even more about this model that has history in this competition (WRC).

After researching and knowing the history of this model, I was delighted with it, for several factors such as its history, its particular motor disposition, because it is a Boxer engine, with a particular traction system that favors in many aspects the performance of the car more contribute to the safety of the vehicle, its ability to be a fast sedan, which can easily serve as a daily car, family car, etc.

And even further, its appearance in the world of modifications... For this Japanese car in this world has many possibilities, from body kits, turbo changes, intercoolers, relief valves, exhaust systems, intake, brakes, internal engine parts (forged), etc.

Personally, this model I would love to modify it a little, as far as mechanically refers, particularly I would not change the engine, but if you put certain modifications that allow better performance and even more in some way greater reliability and durability over time. I would also put particular aesthetic modifications, to make it in a certain way more adapted to my taste, slightly wider rubbers that fit the top of the line of the exit of the fender, since in a certain way this helps equally to the performance, and aesthetically better seated.

The interior of this car is very combined between what would be a racing car, with a normal sedan, which has seats with certain features that work for the street as for the track, giving you comfort and usability for the time that so deserves. Not to mention the sound, and the amenities available, outside the interior design very much to the brand, which I particularly love.

As I comment the good I comment the bad, since this model has some bad reputation for its transmissions "glass" or engines that do not have some resistance to a high amount of horses I feel a block stock.

It will not be a 1000 hp car nor the fastest 0-100, it will not be the aesthetically finest car, with the most refined design, nor a strictly unique model in the world, but it would be the car that I have loved for years, and with the possibility of making totally customized to my taste.

Saludos compañeros, por acá vi una propuesta / desafío interesante, en este caso lo que seria el carro o auto de tus sueños, los que me conocen saben que soy un gran amante de los carros, que se algunas cosas particulares y cuanto disfruto leyendo, o viendo acerca de este genial tema, por lo que esta pregunta es algo que de cierta forma podría considerarse fácil y difícil de responder al mismo tiempo. 

Ya que al ver y saber de muchos modelos con distintas propuestas o estilos puede resultar algo complicado ya que un carro de pista por ejemplo no serviría para ser manejado totalmente en la calle tranquilamente, lo que al mismo tiempo seria en caso contrario, dando igual para las disposiciones motrices y sus configuraciones de transmisión y suspensión. 

De todos los modelos de carros que me gustan o me llaman la atención puedo rescatar que el carro de mis sueños no es necesariamente un carro exageradamente caro o exclusivo como si lo fuera un fino modelo 1/1 o una producción limitada de menos de 50 unidades. 

Por lo que puedo decirles que el carro de mis sueños se los describiré progresivamente y les comentare del porque de este carro…. Comenzando por decir que su motor es de cuatro cilindros 2.5lts, turbo, es un carro que posee un sistema de tracción integral que posee 300VC y un torque de 407Nm, por caja de cambios posee una caja manual de seis velocidades. 

Por medidas podemos encontrar un peso de 1500kg, posee un exterior agresivo, gran alerón y diversas entradas de aire en el frente y salidas en los laterales. ¿Van teniendo una idea del modelo del cual les hablo? Otra pista su color característico es un Azul brillante.

Pues si aún no lo aciertas, acá esta la respuesta es el Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti. Un modelo que no es el modelo base del Impreza normal, es la versión deportiva sin ser la versión tope de este modelo, o versiones exclusivas. La razón de ser de mi admiración por este carro proviene de niño cuando mi padrino me regalo un modelo a escala en control remoto, el cual tenia el rotulado del WRC, y si a eso le sumas lo que ya era de por si mi admiración por los carros, esto alimento aun más mis ganas por conocer aun más acerca de este modelo que posee historia en esta competencia (WRC). 

Luego de investigar y conocer la historia de este modelo, quede encantado de ello, por diversos factores como lo son su historia, su disposición motriz particular, pues es un motor Bóxer, con un sistema de tracción particular que favorece en muchos aspectos el desempeño del auto más aportar a la seguridad del vehículo, su capacidad de ser un sedán rápido, que puede servir fácilmente de carro de diario, carro de familia, etc. 

Y aun más allá, su aspecto en el mundo de las modificaciones… Pues este auto japones en este mundo posee muchas posibilidades, desde kits de carrocería, cambios de turbos, intercoolers, válvulas de alivio, sistemas de escapes, admisión, frenos, piezas internas de motor (forjadas), etc.

Personalmente, este modelo me encantaría modificarlo un poco, en cuanto a lo que mecánicamente refiere, particularmente no le haría un cambio de motor, pero si le pondría ciertas modificaciones que permitan obtener un mejor desempeño y aun mas de cierta forma mayor fiabilidad y durabilidad en el tiempo. Le colocaría de igual forma particulares modificaciones estéticas, para hacerlo de cierta forma más adaptado a mi gusto, cauchos ligeramente mas anchos que se ajusten al tope de la línea de la salida del guardabarros, ya que de cierta forma esto ayuda de igual forma al desempeño, y estéticamente mejor sentado.

El interior de este carro es muy combinado entre lo que sería un carro de carreras, con un sedan normal, que posee butacas con ciertas características que te funcionan para la calle como para la pista, dándote comodidad y usabilidad para el momento que así lo amerite. Eso sin hablar del sonido, y las comodidades disponibles, fuera del diseño de interior muy a lo propio de la marca, lo que en particular me encanta. 

Como comento lo bueno comento lo malo, puesto que este modelo posee cierta mala fama por sus transmisiones de “vidrio” o los motores que no poseen cierta resistencia a una alta cantidad de caballos siento un bloque stock. 

No será un carro de 1000 CV ni el más rápido de 0-100, no será el carro estéticamente más fino, de diseño más refinado, ni un modelo estrictamente único en el mundo, pero sería el carro que me encanta desde hace años, y con la posibilidad de hacer totalmente personalizado a mi gusto.
