SECOND CHANCE

Second Chance

To err is human, to forgive is divine,
But to trust again with a second chance,
Is harder than forgiveness sometimes.

Reason why people put up their very best
In first meetings, to prove themselves worthy.

While it's nearly impossible to please a man
Whom you have intentionally offended,
And be given a second chance to right your wrong,

God however forgives us over and over again
Giving us the benefit of second and more chances;
But then, we shouldn't always do Him wrong.

Some are privileged to have several chances,
Some are rather unfortunate to have just one
Chance which when abused, they pay dearly.

Live life well, the first chance is the only guarantee,
We only have one life afterall, use it well
So when you die, you have no regrets.
