POEM: Life Goes On

Life Goes On

Through the hurts,
Through the pains,
Life goes on.
Memories kept, people missed,
The vacuum felt,
Life goes on.

Troubles don't last,
Storms will calm.
After the rain fall,
The sun will shine again.
The clock keeps ticking-
Life goes on.

Friends turn enemies, enemies turn friends
Families turns strangers, and strangers, allies.
Through the hurts and pains,
Or the joy and gladness,
Experiences in betrayals or commitments,
Life goes on.

Days go by, into weeks,
And months to years,
Memories fade and some stuck,
Pains and tears vanish...
One thing is sure;
Life goes on.

The living lives on,
And the dead decays.
Bright light goes dim,
When full battery runs down.
Through it all,
Life goes on.

Life goes on with every tick of the clock,
And then you appreciate each process.
For what is light in this world,
Without the presence of darkness?
What ever betides,
Be thankful and live life on.
