Good day, guys!

This post is for #SublimeSunday which is initiated by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday which is initiated by @ace108.

Yesterday, I just felt so tired when I got home. After getting ready for bed, my roommate was asking if I wanted to drink with them but I said no. And I tried to go to sleep. For some reason, my sleep was intermittent again, just waking up suddenly out of nowhere. I really have to look for ways to get my quality sleep. In the middle of the night, I also woke up with a dream of a volcanic eruption, after the eruption there was a really huge earthquake for 20 seconds and it felt so real that everything was just shaking. I was really worried about my girlfriend because I couldn’t reach her. I then woke up with my heartbeat raising. The weird part was that happened to me also yesterday, I thought that I felt an earthquake and I felt my heartbeat rising also. It's just so weird to have earthquake dreams consecutively. I finally woke up and got ready for work. For some reason I don’t feel like myself lately, I just seem so tired every day, even after my day off.

Anyway, I got ready for work and took a bus, the bus was packed and I got surprised by what the driver did, there was an instance where I saw a guy running to the bus stop but as soon as he got there our bus left. Felt bad for that guy. Then I got down the metro, took a train to another metro, and took a bus to work. I just feel so lazy today. When I got to the treatment room, one of my colleagues entered and asked why her WiFi doesn’t work on her phone. I was trying to fix it, and she said that her phone space is full, she tried deleting stuff and it worked. And she also endorsed to me what to do during our new promo. My 9:15 patient came and he was chill, I remember the last time I treated him, he was a bit pushy with his religion, during the whole session he didn’t talk about religion anymore. But I’m glad that his back is feeling better than before. After the treatment, one of my colleagues came in to tell me to check on her pc why doesn’t it have internet. I tried plugging and unplugging stuff but nothing worked, I wanted to restart the modem but I don’t know how it works here. So I just told her to contact the person who can fix it.

I was waiting for my next patient at 10:30 but he never came so the doctor endorsed one patient who had a lot of problems and I could only treat him for 15 minutes because my 11 o clock patient was there already. This patient was unique because he wrestles, and his trainer was with him and showed me what he does, no wonder why he had a lot of busted-up areas. It looked so rough; they call it Kushti. I then rushed treating this patient til 11. When he went out, I was calling for my patient, and I saw that they gave that patient to another therapist. I was then waiting for my next patient, he was 15 minutes late. But they gave him again to another therapist so he could take a whole session.

While waiting for the next patient, one of my colleagues asked if I could perform electrotherapy on this woman, and I agreed and I was just speaking with her. She was with her children and she said life was a lot easier when her children were back home in the Philippines because she only had to think of sending money and someone would take care of them. Right now, she has to do a lot of stuff, she told me she’s in her menopausal state, and she still has a kid who’s in her elementary years. She is also a single mother, which made me feel so bad for her, that’s probably why she’s feeling all this pain. I was just speaking with her and telling her to look at the positive aspects of life.

The next patient was also endorsed to me, we were just speaking about life and she told me that she had Psychotherapy sessions and she said that hypnosis felt really good. She said that she feels a lot better now compared to before. I forgot to get the name of where she was treated just in case I need to go for treatment also. It’s just nice speaking with her and all her grateful vibes. She just said to continue being positive so you’ll manifest positivity.

My next patient was an old patient of mine, she didn’t go for a long time because she said that she was going to India. She said that she enjoyed it there. After the treatment, I was just waiting for my next patient,

My next patient came and I saw him last week. I told him that I thought about his statement "money is a means to freedom". We were just speaking about finances but the topic that I was really interested in was his home country Germany. He was telling me a lot of things that are happening there right now. He told me the loopholes to becoming a refugee there. He even advised me, if ever I have any friends trying to go to Europe to stop because it isn't stable there right now. I was so captivated by listening that I extended a bit of my lunch break. I then ate lunch and one of my colleagues gave me a piece of chocolate for dessert.

After lunch, my patient was already waiting for me. I saw him also last week at the same time. He said most of his pains are gone already, which is really a great thing to hear. We were just speaking about basketball, and his pets before. He also used to have a mini pinscher and stayed with them for 15 years.

I was wondering why my booking had 3 same names, only to find out that I had to treat 3 people who are related. The first one who I treated, had the most experience here in the UAE, for some reason she just sounded so stressed out. This is the very first time I encountered a patient who thought that I was gay and that made me laugh. The second family member was the youngest, it was really cool speaking with her, and she knows what she wants in life, and it's to become a Flight attendant. She's just waiting for her job contract. The last person was really interesting because he used to work with our PHilippine government before and told me how corrupt our system was. He said that no matter who the president will be if they don't change the people, corruption will still persist.

After the treatment, I immediately went out of my workplace to try to catch a bus. I haven't ridden this bus for a really long time because of the traffic and you have to cross the street to catch it. It brought me to the place where I wanted to go and explore.

I went to a restaurant and ate a Chicken Biryani, I missed eating it from this place. I was really full after that sumptuous meal. I had to walk to the mall and the humidity really sucked because it got me sweating. I bought some groceries before going home.

Today was a fun day at least I was able to listen to different kinds of stories from patients and learn about different perspectives. I'm truly thankful for all my encounters. May you have a great week ahead!
