Merry Christmas!

This was how we celebrated Christmas eve. We decided to celebrate it in the flat that I used to stay in because they are good friends with my classmates. The day before Christmas eve, we went grocery shopping because it was our day off, and we actually visited 3 groceries just got get some ingredients for the food.

Thankfully, one of my classmates got out early from work, because we all had to work on the 24th. I didn't have many patients, and I actually ditched work early with one of my colleagues. I got home and helped my classmate prepare. Got to talk with my family back home.

We started preparing and transferring the food from our flat to the other flat at around 10:30. And we were preparing while waiting for the others to arrive. It just felt that a year passed by so fast, I remember celebrating Christmas at the same flat, and what made it wonderful was that they made me feel like family.

While waiting for the others, I was just taking photo. We were all complete around 12 o clock.

Our celebration, started with a prayer. And then we chowed down, there was a lot of food, we had a mini hotpot and some samgyupsal. There was also pansit, steak, buko pandan and cake.

After eating,the others started drinking and playing some mobile games. After playing we had our exchange gift. I got portable speakers and I'm so happy. One of my friends also gave me a book called The Secret and I'm excited to read it.

I'm truly grateful that I got to spend Christmas with my friends. Without them, I would have gone crazy being all alone. They are my Dubai Family. I'm also excited because I'm also about to go home to the Philippines.
