Good day, guys!

I’m truly surprised that my sleep has been improving lately. I started drinking chamomile tea at night before sleeping. I just woke up once during my whole sleep and I also woke up before my alarm, feeling recharged. They fixed our air-conditioning unit yesterday because of its leaks and now the a/c unit became stronger and colder because of this, I was so tempted to stay in bed. I noticed that I feel dehydrated lately whenever I wake up. I then got up drank water and got ready for work. I was excited to go to the bus stop and didn’t notice that I left earlier than usual so I had to stay under the sun for around 10 minutes waiting for the bus. I then entered the bus and got to the metro early also. I then took the train going to the next metro got down and took another bus going to work. I was just listening to a podcast before going to work.

My 9:15 patient was there already so I started her, she’s usually my Sunday patient and she has been consistent. We were just discussing going back home and how other people spend so much. We were also speaking about where she lived in the Philippines. She was telling me that she still hasn’t explored Cebu that much and she kept on going to Bantayan Island because of the vibes. I also want to visit Cebu In the future.

I was waiting for my next patient, but he never came. So I was just speaking with one of my colleagues. She told me if I don’t have any plans for the holidays I could go to one of the resorts with my friend and she can make us guests. Then I heard my name in the reception.

I had to take a patient for 30 minutes. I was just mesmerized by the 2-year-old daughter of my patient who was with the mother. When I raised my eyebrows she would just smile and hide in her mother's arms. She was also playing with some of the equipment here in the clinic.

My next patient was my patient from last week. I liked speaking with this guy because he’s knowledgeable, I only started him then the receptionist was knocking and asked me if my patient owned this certain car and he said yes. Unfortunately, it got bumped. So we had to stop the session first so he could settle things with the person who bumped him. It took him around 15 minutes under the heat of the sun. When He came back to the clinic, his shirt was drenched and he was just looking a the bright side at least the person didn’t run away. He told me the one that bumped him was my patient, what a coincidence. This was the very first time this happened to my patient and the guy who bumped him was kind enough to assist him on what to do, he said that the insurance was going to pay for the damages. During the treatment, he was telling me a lot of stuff about cash and I was just learning from him.

The next patient was only for electrotherapy and I was a bit annoyed because it seemed like they couldn’t wait, even though it was just only a complimentary session.
My next patient came and I was asking how he was, I also reminded him that he should try to have a better active lifestyle so that his pain would go away. He had so many excuses and I told him, nothing is going to happen if you just make excuses and he thought things through.

My next patient canceled so while waiting, I felt tired. I think it’s also because of the heat. Even though my room has air conditioning it still seems so hot. I then got a call from our doctor that he’ll be endorsing a patient. I then got the patient from his room and was treating him. I was motivating him to start exercising because when it comes to rehabilitation, they also have to help themselves.

I then ate lunch, and after lunch, my supposed patient was late so they gave him to another therapist. The doctor ended up endorsing another patient to me. I was asked where most of his pain was and it was on his neck, it was probably from his desk job and not moving around. I was shocked that we were just the same age and he grew up in the UAE and studied here. Though he used to work in a different Emirate called Ras Al Khaimah and he’s just 6 months here in Dubai.

After the treatment, I had to treat a couple for the next 1 hour and a half. They were also my patients before. I treated the wife first, as she was complaining of knee pain due to her injury 2 weeks ago. I was just empowering her and letting her do some exercises and she responded well. After treating her, they called me to let my patients go down before our doctor leaves so they could get treated. I had to delay my treatment for around 20 minutes before I treated the husband. I had to treat his back because of the pain. We were just speaking about his work culture and the Philippines. It was nice interacting with them.

I’m thankful that I didn’t have a lot of toxic patients and most of my patient's moods were Great. My colleague's fiancee brought us to the metro, I took the train and went to the mall, instead of going home straight. I passed by the grocery and then got ready to go look for a place to eat dinner. Took the bus and ended up going to the Mall and went to the grocery, I ended up buying dark chocolate with hazelnuts and some other personal stuff. I then ate out of the mall because I was craving for shawarma I also tried their hotdog paratha and it was surprisingly good. I also swung by another grocery but didn't like to buy more sweets though it was tempting. I then went to the bus stop and I was lucky because as soon as I got there I only waited for around 3 minutes before the bus came. I then went home, drank my camomile, took a bath, and finished this.

I'm so excited for our 4-day holiday next week, can't wait to rest and catch up watching anime. Hope your week will all go well!!!
