In a small village there lived a boy named Hasan. Hassan was very mischievous, he often lied to his friends and misbehaved with them. One day Hasan went to his grandfather and said, "Grandfather, I want to have fun."
Grandpa told him, "If you really want to have fun, do a test. When you meet your friends today, tell them the truth and treat them well."
Hasan was a bit shocked at first, but obeying his grandfather, he spoke honestly and behaved well with his friends that day. Surprisingly, his friends all admired him and were more than willing to play with him.
On returning home, Hasan went to grandpa and said, "Grandpa, I had so much fun today. Everyone gave me so much love!"
Grandpa smiled softly and said, "See, telling the truth and being kind is the real fun. It gives you peace and happiness."
Hassan decided from that day on that he would never lie again and always behave well. Thus Hasan learned a valuable lesson: "Truthfulness and good behavior are the greatest virtues in life."
From this story we learn that speaking the truth and doing good brings happiness and peace in our lives.
